Our motto “Once a Torrey, always a Torrey” comes to life during Alumni Weekend, as generations of Torreys return home to LJCDS for a weekend of reconnecting, reminiscing, and community.
We are excited to welcome you back to campus for this year’s extra-special Centennial Alumni Weekend festivities! All alumni are invited to join us as we celebrate 100 years of LJCDS.

Centennial Alumni Weekend 2026
ALUMNI HONORS
Friday, August 28 | 4-7 p.m.
Join us as we honor the inaugural inductees of the LJCDS Arts Hall of Fame and our 2026 Alumni Award recipients— Torreys who have exemplified LJCDS’ mission to prepare individuals for a lifetime of intellectual exploration, personal growth and social responsibility.
Included in the event program will be a reunion of Madrigals alumni! If you were in Madrigals, please indicate you are interested in participating in the Madrigals reunion on stage during the event program when you register for this event.
ALUMNI NIGHT AT THE TORREY FOOTBALL GAME
Friday, August 28 | 7 p.m.
Show your school spirit and cheer on the Torreys at their first home football game of the season, as they take on Mt. Carmel! Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Mix and mingle with fellow Torrey alumni in the Alumni VIP Area, and enjoy the varsity football game under the lights of Ings Family Field.
ALUMNI PICKLEBALL CLASSIC
Saturday, August 29 | 9:30-11 a.m.
First-timers and seasoned players alike are welcome to play in the Torrey Alumni Pickleball Classic— we will have fun for all skill levels!
Bring the family and join us for the Alumni Family Picnic, immediately following the tournament!
ALUMNI FAMILY PICNIC
Saturday, August 29 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Bring your family and return to campus to enjoy food and fun under the sun with fellow Torreys! Enjoy lawn games, an inflatable obstacle course and playground for kids, and delicious eats.
GUIDED CAMPUS TOUR
Saturday, August 29 | 4 p.m.
Take a walk down memory lane with a guided campus tour. Explore new spaces on campus— including a sneak peek of the new Hub for Human Impact opening this fall— and revisit your old stomping grounds!
ALL ALUMNI REUNION EVENT
Saturday, August 29 | 5-7:30 p.m.
Join us to celebrate 100 years of LJCDS, and reconnect with former classmates, teachers, coaches, and mentors! We encourage alumni from every class (21+), as well as current and former faculty/staff, to join us for this special celebration.
